Hanging puppy

Sorry for the morbid photo. A scene that struck my eyes after I got back home from the office one day before my departure for a week trip to Canada. I hope that the puppy was so sad I was leaving, that he could not bear it anymore. The other explanation (that my sweet little girls hung him) is somehow not acceptable for my mind.
