A bit more than half a year ago I talked to a guy from my year for the first time. He was really nice and told me stories about his home in Kenya. I thought that maybe we could be friends after that.

His name was Charles.

Exactly half a year ago today, on January 31, 2016, Charles died of a heart attack at the age of 18. It was such a big shock and we all miss him every day...

But the light that he gave me will everglow.
