The troublesome present

My cat brought me a present. It was a mouse. Unfortunately the mouse was alive and ran off and under the sofa. My cat went to sleep and I had to wait until midnight to catch the mouse. I prepared a trap made of a flower vase with some tasty pâté inside and after the mouse entered the trap and fed on the pâté I set it free. Hopefully it doesn't come back as a trophy. :)
