Bumblebee

I was definitely stepping outside my comfort zone with this shot. I hate bees. I was stung twice as a child (once was my fault, the other time was just bad timing and being in the line of fire) and have had a loathing for them ever since.

Taking pictures of them was almost therapeutic. For once in my life, I didn't feel scared being close. No hostile emotions, just me observing and capturing through my camera.
