Toilet-photo-wall

This is the wall at my parents toilet. In the middle are my grand-parents. they have died a few years ago at age 95 and 99. They have lived a very full life; through world-war II and into the digital revolution. I remember telling my grandmother about 9/11. Her response was strange but probably justified: "Well, the world didn't end, did it?" The first few days I was a bit insulted, but then I realised how (relatively) "small" 9/11 is in comparison to WWII. Well, I miss them both, although it's fine that they are both not alive anymore.
