A mole's perspective

A few remaining autumn leaves, afternoon light and snow. Beautiful combination. From Sunday's walk down by Karlberg Castle. Good thing I wore my Doctor Marten's and wool socks! The snow was still really deep in some places and I had to get reeeaaaally low to take this shot.

This building is called Diana's temple but is really supposed to a tribute to Neptune (some sort of mix up). It was built in 1790-92 . I've always been curious as to how they got away with building these shrines to "pagan" deities around Europe way back when everybody was supposed to be a good little christian...
