Did a double date with Nare, Braden, (and Soju!) last night to celebrate the 4th. I got some colored ink and photo paper and printed out some pictures from their engagement shoot and put it them in a frame that I bought (it was a collage frame with 4 connected 4x6 squares). They were elated. It gave me that warm feeling inside, similar to teaching. They said they've shared their photos with friends and family and they were all very impressed.
Even though there are imperfections from that shoot and my editing style was a little inconsistent, it was reassuring to know that others enjoy my photos. Over the past 6 months, I've learned that photography is an art form best enjoyed and performed when perfectionism is put to the side.
