Queen Etna

Welcome to the moon-like scenery! It really is an extraordinary experience to go to one of the craters of 2002 big explosion. This is one of the places where you sense the power and unpredictability of nature. No matter how hi-tech we, as humans go, nature will do it's outmost to trick us... According to our guide, even now, in XXI century, they're taking a certain percentage of Etna eruption 'by surprise' into account! Well, this wasn't something I translated to my daughter...! :) All in all, a worthy experience. I actually plan to repeat it, but next time climb it on my own, all the way to active craters!
