House Fire

I was walking home from having lunch in town with friends, and I noticed fire trucks and numerous other emergency vehicles heading in the same direction I was. As I got closer to home, a neighbor called out that he heard on the scanner that a house was on fire on Fayette St. I knew it was close so I pulled up a map as I continued home. It was literally the house right behind mine! I was able to stand at the edge of my own backyard and get some cool compositions and practice more photojournalism. It's been a really interesting 2017 so far!
