Københavnerlamper

A street lamp. Normally, just a street lamp, but in Danemark everything is a matter of style and design, so these are a symbol of the city. These iconic street lamps, known simply as Copenhagen Lamps (Københavnerlamper), hung above city streets since the end of the 1970s. Now they are being replaced by modern versions. Since icons can not to be thrown away just like that, The City of Copenhagen is auctioning off some of them. That is a truly great idea!
