B: You know that big tele-lens you always carry in your bag with you? The heavy one that you never take out of your bag?
P: Yeah, Brain. What's with it?
B: Let's leave it at home today. Just this once. That one time you'd really need a zoom lens.
P: Oh my, Brain! That sounds like an awesome idea. Let's do just that!
So yeah, I had to work with the 45mm.
And for those of you who are not from Poland - this is a WOŚP concert. WOŚP stands for Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy - the biggest charity organization in Poland. Every year, in January they organize concerts in pretty much every single city in Poland and during those concerts people can donate money which is then spent to buy medical equipment for hospitals that can't afford it.
This is a wonderful tradition that's been going on for 25 years now. During that time WOŚP collected nearly $140,000,000, which would now be worth more than quarter of a billion dollars. That money helped save thousands of lives.
I really hope they'll break another record this year.
