Sausage Hat

Hard to chose one definitive image from this day.

But the tradition of Sausage Hat was founded by Åsa as a celebration of her birthday, seven years ago. Right after she bought that Sherlock Holmes hat on a trip to London. So it's only fitting that I choose an image of her. Also, she thinks this picture is really funny and uses it as her profile picture on Facebook, so she's totally cool with me sharing it.

The concept is simple; everybody, both young and old, gathers in our backyard (no matter the weather). We then light the grill and serve up a ton of very tasty chorizo and beverages. When people can't stand the cold any longer we take the party inside. The only rule that must be obeyed is: You MUST wear a hat.

It was extra nice to gather a lot of friends and family after what happened here in Stockholm the day before. Felt good to talk about it, but it also felt good to just talk normal stupid stuff and share a few laughs with friends.
