I always thought that you play party games in hell. I honestly hated sitting by the board and trying to understand the rules, and even more the pointless rivalry. Recently however I've started to change my outlook, a bit because the games are more interesting and a bit because good company ended up being the key to the fun. In good company I can even get invested. Of course, I could care less who wins.

albertjones It’s funny how much company changes the whole vibe of a game. I used to avoid anything competitive because it always turned into pointless stress, but then I got into games where the fun comes more from the people than the scoreboard. Valorant was the one exception - somehow even casual matches felt sweaty. At one point I wanted to understand why I kept getting stuck, so I checked out this service eloboss.net/valorant-boosting mostly to see how higher-rank players think and position themselves. Watching that gave me a new perspective, and the game stopped feeling like a chore.
