Turn Signal

I had to make a trip to the post office today, and on the way back, a drizzle of rain began to fall. It wasn't seriously heavy, but I began to think that it might last a while, so, I began to head in the direction of home.

I took a little turn onto a small street where I saw this aging Beetle and decided to photograph it with my film camera. (I have difficulty resisting Bugs since I owned one for eleven years many years ago.) After a couple of shots, I began to explore the car's details—its colours, its curves and lines—and found a few abstracts I was quite pleased with.

Soon, the drizzle stopped and I wended my way to the Mission District, where I picked up a few groceries, as well as a couple of books at a thrift store.
