Out of the darkness

Wanted to learn how to do it and try it out since over a month now. Previously failed using flash attached to the camera and self made soft boxes or external light sources. Today I figured out how Nissin i40 flash I bought for lx100 can be triggered remotely by any other flash shot. Max aperture, 1/200 and playing with flash power and placement made the rest. Used old canon 420ex flash trimmed down to minimum and directed on the side as a trigger. Doing a selfie while holding a DSLR with external flash attached in one hand and second one in the other hand is a skill on its own.... Somehow managed to do all only in 30min of sudden spare time postprocessing included. Quite pleased with the results....
