Old Mate [day 84]

This was my first SLR, and my first "serious" camera, and it was a gift of my parents, from more than 20 years ago. With it, my favourite film was Kodak Portra.

Compared to other, compact cameras I used before this, this one was overwhelming to me - so many things to tune and check before any shot!

Because of this, I think I shot only a relatively small number (I guess few hundreds) of photos with this camera. Also, it was "film age", and I was a student, and couldn't afford to spend too much money on film, development and prints. So I got used to think more than twice before shooting any photo, because I didn't want to waste a shot.

And it was a good thing - the thinking.
