A Border at a Fish Pond

Today I made another hike for my Border Project and visited the former Iron Curtain between Austria and the Czech Republic. Again I saw dozens of bizarre Czech ATTENTION BORDER signs in the middle of nowhere. The landscaped changed from lovely vineyards to farmland, unharvested woods and swamps. The border cut into a train line and along a fish pond and finally went into the middle of a river. That's where my next expedition will resume. From there, it is only ca. 15 kilometers to the Tripoint Border between Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia,
