Test drive [day 206]

Next week I'll go to a star party with other amateur astronomers, and I'll shot lots of night photos.

Let's test our setup: this small mount will follow the motion of the stars, so they can still be pinpoints even in long exposures (and it doubles as a programmable intervallometer, too). That 20 Ah powerbank down there will power both the camera and the mount. The gadget mounted on the flash hot shoe is a red dot finder: it helps you point the camera in the right direction projecting a red dot in front of you.

So let's hope in clear nights!
