one of the cool things about Icelandic people is that they just looove to put lots of decorations (often self-made) all around their houses. their gardens are full of garden gnomes, sculptures and mini-models of buildings and their windows sometimes look like little theaters. for some people it may be kitchy, but to me it makes this country so unique and i love it.
