One of the most important photography lessons I got years ago could be summarized into single sentence: Great photos are everywhere. You just need to stop and patiently observe what surrounds you.
It's that easy, but on the other hand so difficult in a daily rush.
This photo is definitely not the greatest one, but reminded me of the words above. I shot it in the living room, 3 meters away from where I spend most of my workday. I haven't noticed this shadow for at least a year, which makes me think that still have a lot to practice...
