Fall 1988 Edition of Life Magazine

This is my treat for this weekend, the 1988 Fall Edition of Life Magazine celebrating 150 years of Photography, 150 years of documented history, from the 1st picture ever taken in 1827 till 1988, showing how photography shaped the world of today, recording the past, the present and predicting the future, used in fashion science, research and in every aspect of life, recording history for the generations to come to study and learn from. Photography is not only an album of memory, it's the invention that allowed us to see in someone else mind. Photography allowed us to break walls and eliminate barriers, made the world smaller and gave us access to the universe, made us travel in time and space, took us back in the past and to places that we may never get to visit. Photography captured emotion, tears, cry, love, wars, destruction, reinvention, life and death, the moon, the earth........it allowed us to record our own memories. I dedicate today to those who carried camera around for the purpose of making a difference.
