Blocking Water in Bialozwieza Forest

Making some small valves in the forest to retain more water. Recently there is not much water there in the summer which causes smaller growth rate and carbon sequestration. It also endangers some of the tree species like spruce making the trees to have more troubles fighting the insects like bark beetle.

The small valves are made of natural materials found on the site like rocks, branches, and/or soil.
