Magic Comb

For centuries combs were and still made out of Ox and Sheep Horn, a tradition and craftsman skill passed on from generation to another. Animal horn has always worked well for combs for many reason, the fact that it is a natural renewable and fully biodegradable material, the residues are use to make buttons and the rest is crashed to be used as natural fertilizer for farming, the horn comb glides better and smoother through the hair and facilitate untangling due to its molecular nature without creating any static. I took this picture as part of my project in Morocco "Lost Trades, 1200 years of Moroccan history" a project about all the trades that may go extinct within few years.
