For past week I've been keeping an eye on the weather and Friday night ticked all the boxes: -Clear skies forecast -No fog forecast -Low wind -Friday night (good late night transport)

Basically, perfect milky way weather forecast. So I jumped on a train for an hour and a half and ended up in my normal spot, roughly 100km away from Melbourne just as the sun set. I then sat for roughly half an hour while it got dark and .... the clouds came in. The next train wasn't for nearly 2 hours.
