Snälltåget = „the friendly train“. Well, yes, nobody was unfriendly, but instead of bringing us from Stockholm to Odense (and other travellers as far as Hamburg) the train suddenly stopped at Malmö because there is a problem in Denmark and our train probably didn‘t get the tracks to move on. So we helped ourselves instead of waiting for a crowded replacement service bus and travelled to Copenhagen by regional train. But the problem was so big that most trains were delayed or cancelled, and the one that left was hopelessly overcrowded. We‘re now on board of a regional train and hope to arrive some time… a railway journey is always an adventure 🤪 #locomotive #railway #sweden
