A feather in my cap

While it won't be gracing the pages of National Geographic or the Journal of Turtles, I do think this is one of my better Blanding's shots.

The secret here was to go back and have desert. (In the time it took me to go back into the dining hall, enjoy my brownie, and come back out this turtle was busy digging a nest). And having a long lens... that helped too.
