Wet, wet, wet

A photograph, taken through the kitchen window, which sums up today pretty well. It has poured down all night and shows no sign of abating. When we arose this morning the poor old blackbird, soaked to the skin, was sitting on the window cill awaiting his porridge oats. To make matters worse it is the Summer solstice on Monday and then the days will start to get shorter as we head into Winter!
