the Brixen Cathedral from inside

Not Michelangelo was the artist but a man of Monguelfo (60km from my home), his name Paul Troger. He was one of the most important Austrian painters of the Baroque. His last major work, the ceiling frescoes in Brixen Cathedral, painted in an expressive, pioneering style (1748/50).
