Fig leaf hollyhock after the rain

Alcea ficifolia - Before this flowered I did not think it was a hollyhock. The leaves don't look anything like the leaves of the hollyhocks I know. But it is a hollyhock. It just showed up in our yard.

My Confetti Moon I agree those are strange leaves for a common hollyhock :) Lovely flower none the less! I enjoy the mix of whites & greens :))
