Some of you might remember my New Year's idea for a portrait photography project:
facebook.com/portraitofscience
It focuses on portraits and interviews of scientists in Dresden's bio-campus.
Portrait of Science didn't become uber popular but it did gain some local recognition. The page is still below 500 likes but I do think of it as a small victory. It showed me that I can put my ideas into actions, even if it didn't seem so possible at the beginning - both in terms of technique (shooting a Brenizer method) and in terms of interacting with people (which I think is not my strongest skill)..
What failed me though was time. I am now at the very end of my little journey to obtain the PhD title and putting time into scheduling meetings, overlooking interviews and finally post-processing the pictures turned out to be way too much right now. So PoS will go on a break for a while now and maybe start again in a month or two..
