More Legos

This is obviously inspired by Vesa Lehtimäki's photography and actually my first attempt. I stumbled upon these pics in the morning and just couldn't resist not to try it myself.

To all of you who think "OMG, that must have required a ton of expensive gear" - it actually didn't. The whole set is a pizza box filled with baking soda, which is close to free, to be honest. The rocks in the background are made of an old, folded and painted black newspaper. And the light - a $1 flashlight. So if you have some Legos, and a tripod this is actually a $2.50 photo.

I added some cool effect of falling snow in Photoshop, but decided not to put it here. I'll figure out how to make it more genuine. Will probably need a decent flash to make that happen.
