So, it's close to two years now and I think I'm learning something again: not only follow your instinct, actively tap into you instinct to ensure you use the instinct.
Here's what I mean. I mostly step very openly into a taking a photo. I'll walk/cycle around and stop whenever I see an image worthwhile. Instead of being open, I think it's smarter to allow the instinct to be used more.
In this case: I'm starting to like more abstract photo's, somewhat blurry, vague, out and out of focus. This image did not came to life by incident, I actively tapped into my instinct, anticipated the shot I wanted to have and took it.
