Ready to start the day...

This morning I was attracted down to the lake once again. The sun was peeping through the couds and all was calm. A man in his 60s walked passed me and then stopped to ask me very politely what I do with all of my photos. I explained that I do the tookapic challenge and that my two girls love looking at them too. He then explained that he used to take lots of photos for years and years but that he had stopped taking any because he didn't know what to do with them. He had a sad look in his eyes. I said I understood his position but I had only started to capture the world around me six months ago and that I loved the excitement of shooting a good photo and the adrenaline that goes with it. All this to say that I think this man should start tookapic and get back into the positive emotions photography can bring...

vera Nice, but sad story about this man... I met once the same with an old woman and painting. It is a little disappointing, and shows that sharing a work gives sense to it. Tookapic is a great place for that, because we immediately have feedback around the world! That's really incredible!
