Jaclyn I found some guides i found online as to how many squares to make adults and kids etc and kind of went from there. I used Photoshop to mock it up and make adjustments to everything. Also looking at what other people did on Pinterest for similar projects helped. Especially with the plaid shirt and the larger dogs.
