A haunting in Old Town

Old Town. Basically the only place to go in Stockholm if you want proper alleys. This alley is a favorite of mine, even though it's pretty hard to do it justice in a photo (this is not the first time I've tried). it's a long, narrow set of steps between very old buildings covered in graffiti and stickers. If you're lucky, like I was today, you get there on a day when it's not reeking of piss!

I shot this on a low shutter speed to keep the noise down. Since I was mainly shooting for the alley itself I wasn't worried about freezing movement. Every now and then people walked down the steps and into my shot, I kept shooting, thinking I might get some cool motion blur. This one frame happened to work really well. I love how his jacket and backpack compliments the walls and how the ghostly effect on his face and his posture sort of make it look like a poster for a horror movie.
