Grace thank you :) its hard to see the true colours of a tui, sometimes it appears just black unless the light is shining in the right direction
Grace yeah starlings are quite pretty in the right light too. I used my 40-150mm lens, but this bird was quite close, actually outside my living room window ;) I saw it fly by a few times so quickly grabbed the camera.
