New Year's resolution

I desperately want to stop being lazy! For so many years I want/try to learn Swedish (Danish too) and I always give up after something like a month or two... Maybe it's because the exaggeration with "I must"/"I need to" instead of using "I want" (of course another thing is that I could choose different faculty or start two of them from the beginning)?
