bvphotosnap Great capture of the flight with wings spread!
I do know that when I'm photographing raptors they will always shoot out poop before they take flight, it's a tell tale sign that they are uncomfortable. Maybe it helps to make them lighter for flight?

I remember from my zoology classes that the birds don't have bladder, what makes them lighter. Considering that their urinary and digestive tracks are connected at the end... you're probably right (-;
