I am trying to figure out a setup to do some product photography for a friend. I am not happy with the grey tint of the background. Any suggestions?

Steve Karg I've either had to white balance and over expose, using white ink dropper in GIMP to adjust color levels for the white and black portions of a photo, or edited heavily with an erase tool.
