Light in the Darkness

Lying in the dark talking to my friend over the phone about matters of the heart; as I struggle to see the intentions of anothers affection. I gaze upwards into the seemingly infinite darkness of my ceiling. At once I realise I'm on an emotional journey in search for that light of hope that offers insite into anothers mind and intentions. The method behind the madness. I turned on the night light so the abyss cannot see into me; I turn on the lamp and find no answers, but before me hovers a work of art that today I will share with the world.
