Pommes d'Amour?

Nutt I think they're a bit darker sometimes too (according to Wiki). They're actually a kind of pear. I tried one this evening: very delicate taste, texture is slightly woody but firm and yes, very juicy! I'd never seen them before either - a friend dropped by with them this afternoon, he'd just found them in the supermarket. White inside too - just like a pear, but round. :)

Romain now I'm curious about the taste... I hope I can find them here....
