Fallen Down

Down, as in a feather. Clever! I went for a beautiful morning walk with my honey and I took so many lovely photos it was hard to decide on just one. This one just pleases me though, so here it is. :) That crazy bumpy rock! I also think I found a fossil today in the dried riverbed (the tide is really low)! There have been a lot of feathers around campus lately for some reason.

If you zoom in you can see how the feather tube is hollow and the feather stands have tiny hooks!!
