A day in our life

Today I brought her her favorite pie The apple one. As I walked into her bedroom, she was laying down on her bed, exhausted, tired, she had no energy since Wednesday's chemo, that's a good sign, it means that the medication is working on her, it's a whole battle and another universe going on inside her, happy to know it's working but hard to see her suffer. She is so happy and excited about the project, it helps her talk and get things out off her chest. Today she told me about her family as we went through old photographs, some of the photographs made her smile and some made her emotional, she went back in time, she talked till she slept. I left her sleeping peacefully.
