Slice of light

Wonderful morning today, bright sunlight and long, hard shadows. I hopped off at Old Town and took a walk, looking for a good spot where I had both light and shadows and an interesting play between the two. I had to wait out a delivery truck that blocked my shot, but I felt that it was worth being a bit late for work in order to get this picture.

I love the colors, and I'm very happy with how his body is positioned right in the middle of that slice of light, weight firmly placed on the front foot.
