Fruticose lichen.

Sunday (today) was much worse weather wise with rain rolling in making conditions pretty poor for shooting birds. I would have made more of an attempt to photograph some waterfowl with the telephoto but alas it is a rental and I won't take any chances. Overall I really like the lens and will save up to purchase it even after such a brief trial. It is heavy and awkward but it will give me that extra reach for birds that I have always dreamed about. Birds are the main reason I took interest in photography many years ago so I think it will be very much worth it. Macro lichen that made a home on the hawk watch deck with have to suffice.
