It's a very hot day, too hot to go out adventuring, plus I have a puppy that needs to be supervised constantly. I grabbed my Nikkor 40mm Macro lens and Nikon D5300 and went into the backyard. While the puppy played and did her business, I found this grasshopper and took a few portraits of it.
