I took a photo of a friend

Today, a friend of mine visited me and we tried a small photo experiment. It's one of my first portraits in a dark ambiance so I am definitely going to try this again.

Claudiu Sergiu Danaila Yes. It was really easy to work with him. Next time I will try to build a custom ring light. For this one, I used my iPhone flashlight to light up his face :)

tania And all the room was dark ? I mean really dark ?

Claudiu Sergiu Danaila Yes. I actually used dark bed sheet for the background :D Improvised the whole thing. You can also use a speedlite flash for extra light. Just to get that rough aspect on the face.
