the predator

I had my balcony door open and I heard that some little birds were very loud, so I've decided to go and check what was going on... and I saw this beauty. Probably the little ones were warning each other that a predator is near. It's probably Falco tinnunculus but I'm not sure.

bvphotosnap Great! I love how you've captured an innocent moment here!! ☺ I think it's a Merlin if I'm correct.... they prey on the little house sparrows which is probably why they were sounding the alarm :D

freyr Thanks a lot! (: Yes, it may be Merlin as well - individuals are sometimes so different that it's hard to define. Poor sparrows! But... predatory birds are so majestic :D
