Shitty Week, Pretty Flower

This week was mostly a write-off (it would have been better spent laying in bed and not engaging with the world at large). Meetings cancelled, promises broken, and being told that my concerns don't really matter.

Nothing much I can do about that.... except everything: Moved heaven and earth to keep a meeting (lunch with a friend), kept a promise to myself to make something special for a birthday, and let folks who work with me know that their opinions matter.

This was the second best photo I took today. The best went to my promise of making something special.
