Learn from sacrifices

I tried to tight with screws Tabebuia wood -because I have been annoyed by termites hurt of wooden structure- but Tabebuia is too hard for my driver and screws!! I drilled many spare holes with different diameter and tried to put screws, but other screws sacrificed... Tabebuia is so tough wood. Termites are surely not damaging this. but me too...

A moment, an idea got into my head. Why didn't I put a metal lubricant on the screw and then insert it? Thanks to the lubricant, I could tight them with a very good feeling :)
